Chameleon Threads

Chameleon is a range of hand-dyed threads, dyed in and imported from South Africa. All are dyed using the highest quality threads - the perlé and stranded have a DMC base, while the silks are dyed on Au Ver a Soie, imported from France.

The threads are all hand-dyed by Via Laurie, author of the best selling book, Creative Embroidery with Space-dyed Threads.

The full range of Perlé No. 8 threads is available, as are stranded cotton threads, A ver au Soie D'Alger and D'Paris. In addition there is a range of hardanger threads, in No 8 and No 12 perles. Shortly a new range of Perle No 12 will be launched and Via's range of hand dyed, counted, linen fabrics will also go up on our site.
